Due to the poor productivity of crops, people have no time to maintain cleanliness because the food is more important than anything else. Famine and begging and pickpocketing were other typical features of this period.

Green revolution time and beyond

With the international cooperation of agriculture scientists from around the world, new kind of crops called High Yielding Varieties (HYV) seeds were developed. The discovery of the HYV crops led to the many-fold increase in the food crop production in all those countries around the world. This era of rapid advancement in agriculture methods marked a clear distinction from a period before it. Hence to commemorate this period of growth the people called this as the Green Revolution.

Green Revolution means more yields

Technically Green Revolution refers to the improvement in the productivity of agricultural produce. It involves the emergence of a large number of fertilizer industries, the appearance of the seeds production companies and the beginning of the decrease of the malnourished people.

The green revolution is one of the greatest important development. It alone is the demarcating line between a poor, sick and underdeveloped colonialism period and the modern world of the 20th century.

life of people has still sucked even in periods after the green revolution.

People got plenty of food to eat as a direct result of the revolution and they also get all those lifestyle problems like obesity, diabetes heart attack which was rare before.

Whether with or without the green revolution peoples life continues to face challenges. The problems our forefathers faced before we do not face them today. But, what we face now are partially what we made for ourselves with our style and standard of living. However, we can't deny the truth that facing the slow death of the modern world in the form of deteriorating health issues is more bearable than facing it with a bare empty stomach. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is, therefore, the only choice to remain blessed with all these discoveries.
