Cash crop

Cash crops are crops that are cultivated for selling to get money. Banana, mango, oranges, tea, turmeric, ginger, tomato etc are cultivated mostly to sell to get money in return from its sale. Hence the term is use to indicate the activity of cash gained after the crops.
